The width and height is very important when measuring the kitchen backsplash, or tiled area. Some kitchen backsplashes have the shape of a long rectangle, which makes the measurement relatively easy. Other kitchens consist of for example from two walls in a L-shape, or even from three walls in a U-shape, where each wall must be measured separately.
If you are not sure how to focus the tiled space correctly, you can send us a photo of your kitchen and we will mark the areas that will need to be measured. We will also calculate the total number of m2 you will need.
In “Custom made” production, we can also cut holes for switches and sockets in tiles. You don’t have to cut anything on the spot, you just need to install tiles around hole. In this case, it is important to measure the distance of the holes from the edges of the tiled area.
The distance is measured to the edge of the hole you have in the wall for switches and sockets. If you already have plastic covers installed and the switches or sockets are fully functional, you need to put the cover down for more precise measuring.
You can also send us a photo of the tiled area where the switches or sockets are located and we will mark you how to measure them correctly.
We will be happy to help you with measuring your space. All you have to do is send us a photo of the space where you want to install the tiles and we will mark what we will need.
